This policy explains how Math-Mate handles information when you use this free online textbook.
Information collected
Math-Mate does not require an account and does not ask students for their name, age or school. The web host may record standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time of access for security and service operation.
Google Analytics collects aggregated information about visits, page use, devices and referral sources. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, analytics storage defaults to denied until the visitor grants permission through the consent message. When analytics storage is denied, Google Analytics does not read or write analytics cookies and may receive limited cookieless measurement signals. Lesson-search phrases are processed in the browser and are not sent to Google Analytics.
Google AdSense and Google's certified consent platform may process device information, cookies or similar identifiers to manage consent and, when enabled, provide and measure advertising.

Math-Mate is an educational resource used by learners of different ages. It does not provide user accounts or intentionally request personal details from children. Parents and guardians should supervise younger users' internet use.
Retention and rights
Technical and analytics information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above and according to the applicable provider settings. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of personal information.
